UNEMPLOYMENT IN THE EUROPEAN UNION

This infographic explains the relation -in general since 2000 to 2012- of unemployment rates in the European Union with a graphic on the left.

In the middle we can see the relation between unemployment in men and women at an international level. Women has a higher unemployment than men.

On the right there is a comparison between the powerful countries on the european union and the weakest ones. Spain is on the weakest ones and probably the most of them.

The colors I've chosen are blue, grey and white in relation to the map in the backward that has the same colors in honor to the colors of the EU.

Airplane crashes.

Top 3 of the worst plane crashes.

United States, Russia, and others.

Infographic

This infographic represents the three worst fatalities on EEUU and Russia.  In comparison, Russia had more fatalities than United States by number of people deaths. Two of them had more than 50 deaths meanwhile EEUU had less than 50 fatalities in each crash.

As a curiosity there's under that a graphic with the two worst fatalities of the Islami's Revolution Air Force with a high number of deaths in two crashes.

I decided to select the color of the background just to be neutral in comparison with the saturated colors I used for the maps. Every map is related in color with the letters of the place we are talking about, all in red, blue and purple. The background color seems some kind of military color so it helps to my graphic to be understood.

As we are talking about airplanes crashes, the icons that remarks the fatalities are military planes.

ISABELLA STEWART GARDNER MUSEUM ROBBERIES

On the night of March 18 1990, a pair of thieves disguised as Boston police officers entered the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and roamed the Museum's galleries, stealing thirteen works of art.

This infographic tries to explain the facts with a chronological order. We can see on the left one part explaining with some text and the sequence of images what happened that night.

Upside I put the museum with the logotype but emphasizing on the fact that I was going to talk about: the robberies.

The stolen artworks where caught from the two floors that the flat have. From the first floor only one was stolen but from the second floor the robbers had stolen some more art works. I put the most important on the graphic but the total was 13. The total value of the robbery was 300.000.000$.

Refering to the colors, I preferred to use brown and green in relation to the museum which logo is in green also. The polices are blue and red because the blue is the real one and the red is the thief (that has the letters of the uniform changed just to emphasize that he's not a real police).

I hope you'll understand my infographic and better on if you like it also!
